The Bucharest part of the tour includes visits to Revolution's Square, Romanian Athenaeum, National Art Museum, which was the former Royal Palace, National Library, Victoria's Way with the Senate Building, Cretulescu Church, Central Army House, the old building of CEC (National Savings House and National History Museum), Coltea Church and Hospital, National Theatre, University of Bucharest, Village Museum, Press House, Parliament Palace, the former People's House, a short stop nearby for taking pictures, Romanian Opera, Military Academy, Cotroceni Palace, Herastrau Park and Triumphal Arch.
Also included is a 1 hour guided tour of Cotroceni Palace, the headquarters of the Romanian Presidency. Over 300 years old, the palace has a rich history and is one of the most beautiful buildings in Bucharest.
Lunch will be served near Press House Square, at Taverna Sarbului - one of the most appreciated restaurants in Bucharest.
Post lunch, guests are taken to Mogosoaia Palace, in Mogosoaia town. Built by Constantin Brancoveanu, in genuine Romanian Renaissance arhitectural style, the beautiful Mogosoaia Palace is over 300 years old. Inside the palace is the Brancovenesc Art Museum, one of the main tourist attractions outside of Bucharest.
